Paddle across the calm, mangrove-fringed waters of Rekawa Lagoon on a guided kayak safari led by local guide Lakith. Choose a 6:00 AM sunrise or 4:00 PM sunset departure and glide for around two hours (no time limit) through hidden mangrove caves and a secret river, spotting birds, water buffalo, monitor lizards and lotus flowers. The lagoon is only about a metre deep with no crocodiles, so it is perfectly safe for complete beginners. Your guide shows you the best spots, shares the story of the lagoon and its wildlife, and takes professional photos for you along the way. A little picnic on Rekawa Lagoon beach is included.
