Ocean Queen 1 is a 12-seat luxury speed yacht out of Mirissa harbour, and the price is for the boat rather than per head — take two people or twelve for the same fare. Blue whales, sperm whales, spinner dolphins and turtles are all seen on this stretch in season. Use it for whale watching or deep-sea fishing; tell the crew which on the day. Operated by Chaminda Thushara. Government licensed, fully insured, experienced crew. Note: a Wildlife Conservation Tax of USD 20 per person is collected separately as required by the authorities, and is not included in this price.
